Kofluence's latest report, 'Decoding Influence 2026,' reveals how AI, regulation, and creator commerce are redefining India's influencer market. The sector, valued at ₹3,000-3,500 Cr in 2025, is poised to reach ₹4,500-5,000 Cr by 2027, marking a shift from an experimental to a formalised industry.
The report documents a structural change driven by AI's efficiency and regulatory governance, enabling influencer marketing to become a critical business operation. The creator economy has grown to over 2 million creators, with significant inroads made in regional and vernacular markets across India's smaller cities.
Corporate accountability is tightening, as brands directly link investments in influencer marketing to revenue targets. The report emphasizes that AI standardises content production while regulations like ASCI and SEBI introduce accountability, turning these frameworks from obstacles to competitive advantages.
