In a move to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence (AI) agents for supply chain workflows, software vendor Manhattan Associates today launched a platform where customers, developers, and partners of Manhattan’s products can share agentic AI solutions with each other.
The “Manhattan Marketplace” is designed to be a central hub where participants can discover and deploy intelligent agents, extensions, and accelerators built specifically for the firm’s Manhattan Active solutions.
Because those solutions are built specifically for Manhattan’s technology, users can adopt them without “bolting on” a new software program that requires extra integration to work successfully, Manhattan Associates CTO Sanjeev Siotia said in a session today at the company’s “Momentum” users conference in Las Vegas.
“Teams can discover targeted solutions already designed for real operational workflows across industries, regions, and use cases. And they can deploy them directly into the environment they already trust,” the firm said in a release.
“For example, a partner could publish an industry-specific warehouse workflow agent or a regional compliance extension directly into Marketplace. Customers could then discover and deploy those capabilities into their existing Manhattan environment without starting from scratch or stitching together disconnected systems.”
Partners are already developing for Manhattan Marketplace today, with customer access expected in upcoming quarters as additional solutions and capabilities are introduced over time.
